May 2007:
Store No. 321, Rostraver Township, Pa.

Pet departments stocked with hamsters, parakeets, goldfish and all creatures great and small (but mostly small) were a highlight of G.C. Murphy Co. stores, especially for kids. At Store No. 321 in the Tri-County Plaza shopping center near Belle Vernon, Pa., assistant manager Dick Moyer and floor supervisor Kay Petros look a little bit unsure about the brown and white hamster they're handling.
